Le Vingale Apartment - Funchal (Madeira)

During my recent transit in Funchal, I had the opportunity to stay at Le Vingale, and I must say the experience was quite convenient. The hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, just 20 km away, made it incredibly easy for me to reach my accommodation without any hassle. This was a major advantage for someone like me, who values efficiency and time-saving when traveling.

The bed mattress and pillows were surprisingly firm, which unfortunately resulted in discomfort and some pain in my neck and back.

This centrally located apartment is perfect for exploring the city. the spacious bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette provide all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. the air conditioning works silently, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. the nearby rooftop bar and Infinito Wine Bar offer great dining and drinks options right at your doorstep.

Cleanliness could be improved.

Great value for money, the room felt luxurious with black-out blinds, AC, and a well-equipped kitchen corner. The location was ideal, close to public transport, shops, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and had excellent communication.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with more cooking essentials like oil, spices, and a teapot.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Vingale in Funchal. the location was perfect, with everything we wanted to see within walking distance. the room felt luxurious, although a bit small. the bathroom was also well-designed, and I appreciated the hair dryer provided. the blackout window blinds were a nice touch, great for taking daytime naps. the room had AC, a "fake fireplace," and a TV. the kitchen corner was well-equipped with a hot plate, pots, pans, and various kitchen appliances. it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Our stay at Le Vingale was quite enjoyable. The location of the apartment was perfect, right in the city center, making it convenient for exploring. The apartment itself was equipped with a spacious bathroom and a quiet air conditioner, our comfort. We also appreciated the easy check-in and check-out process.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The lack of an electric teapot meant we had to use pots to boil water for our tea.

Location - Super convenient, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Luxurious room - Although a bit small, the room felt like a high-end retreat.

I loved the free Wi-Fi, it was perfect for scrolling through Instagram and ignoring my surroundings.

No complimentary shower gel? How am I supposed to feel pampered without a tiny bottle to take home?
